Sequoia High School
Class Of 1975

WELCOME to the Sequoia High School Class of 1975 website !

It's FREE to be a member !

WE HAD OUR 50th CLASS REUNION WEEKEND, AUGUST 15-17, 2025.

WE HAD JUST A LITTLE BIT O' FUN.

WE WILL PLAN A GATHERING NEXT AUGUST 2026.

This website was created to reconnect with the 500+ members of Sequoia High School Class of 1975 in a fun and safe way.  Who else but a classmate to run a class site, instead of all those high school sites that don't even know or care who we are and what we look like!  We ask for your participation so that we all can get re-acquainted and celebrate our days as Cherokees !

WE ARE ALL FRIENDS ... UNALIYI !!

Hi, this is Melodie Moore, a 1975 graduate of Sequoia, and the administrator of this website.  I want to assure you that on this website you have the privacy level you choose.  When you log into your profile page, you will be asked to provide an email address and a password for you to get back onto the site and your page.  You do not need to complete any information you do not wish to.  Your email address and contact info is not visible to other classmates.  That goes for all of the info you may put on your profile page, unless you so choose.  That page is yours to manage.  Only logged on classmates can view your profile page, and only can see what you want them to see.  Your profile is not seen by the public.  Any information you provide to our website is kept confidential; it is NEVER shared or distributed.  If you choose, a private email message can be sent to you by another member, and, if you choose, members can post visible messages on your profile page using the comment box.  You can also email private messages to other members and post visible messages on another member's profile page.

I am the only person who can see your email address; I will never know your password.  If you forget your password, I am able to go into your profile page and give you a new password to log in with (which you should change once you are back into the website).

Hopefully this makes you feel at ease about this website, and you sign on!

Wow!   Sequoia75.com has 210 classmates registered.  That's fantastic!

Sadly, we know of 44 who have passed away.

8/17/2025   NOTE FROM MARY COLLIER PURCELL --

I hoped till last minute to be at all 3 dates. Hope, prayers, & wellwishes appreciated. I am off work thru Oct. 31. Can't wait to see what I missed. I had snacks ready to share Fri. night. Had dress to wear Sat. evening. Was Ready to taste fish & chips today. Hoping all had fun! Already Wishing to see all at next one. This one was first one ever missed. Thinking back to my one & only slow dance with Bob in high school. And, with Bob's wife's permission, of course, would have liked to have re-lived that one and only slow dance... one last time. Had no idea that choices I made soon after would take me away from some more moments with all my other study buddies & other social groups that accepted me, as shy as I was, as naive as I was back then, & so vulnerable to heartbreak. Guess some people never change. How amazing of Melodie, et al, to create our lasting opportunity (only interrupted by covid, and one other time combined onlyvone year off, with another class)! Many thanks to all for an unforgettable high school experience back in the day. Maybe all look back (& forward) to enriching each other's lives with unique moments in time. If the person who said this to me doesn't mind, "What is good for others is also good for yourself." I still remember that face to face comment made to me and bring it to mind before entering the intersections of main highways in life at the green, yellow, and red lights of life with each & every one of my moments with each of you.
