Gentlemen and Ladies Golf Outing

Where:   Crystal Springs Golf Course, Burlingame

           Directions:  From Hwy 101, San Mateo, head southwest on Peninsula Avenue, go 1 mile.  Turn right on el Camino Real, go .3 mile.  Turn left on Ralston Ave., go 1.1 mile.  Slight right at Chateau Dr., go 1.1 mile.  Take left on Skyline Blvd., go .6 mile.  Take right on Hayne Rd., go .2 mile.  Take right on Golf Course Dr., go .9 mile to your destination ... Crystal Springs Golf Course.

 

When:  Saturday. Check-in 10:00 am; tee times begin at 10:45 am.

We will be booking tee times for groups of four, 7 to 8 minutes apart, all starting on the front nine.  Please indicate on the form below if you have a guest and/or foursome planned, and if you need rental clubs.

We will play a four-person Texas Scramble.  Every golfer tees off, then plays their second shot from the spot of the best drive.  Each subsequent shot is played from the spot of the "best ball" throughout the round.  It's a typical 4-person best ball scramble, except that teams must take 4 drives from each golfer.  It's a fun format for an event like this because it keeps the group together throughout the round, rather than wandering off alone into the woods to play that stray golf ball.  It's good for any skill level, as it all comes down to a morning walk in the park with friends.  We just need golfers !

Photographs of each foursome will be taken at a designated hole.  A group photograph will be taken at the clubhouse.

Cost is $90.00 per person.  This fee includes 18-hole round green fee, cart, prize fund, and free range balls.  Club rental extra ($40).  Discount cards not applicable.  Fee payable one month in advance of event.

Note:  This course is rated Championship.   The dress code is soft-spike shoes, collared shirt, no cut-offs, no tank tops, no jeans.

*  Hole-in-one on Hole #3, Par 3

*  Closest to the pin on Hole #8, Par 3

*  Longest drive

*  Longest putt

*  Lowest Score (single player)

*  Lowest Score (foursome)

*  Highest Score (single player)

Prizes include:  Rangefinder,  Shag bag,  ball retriever, golf balls, gift cards.
